ABOUT UMS GROUP EUROPE

The development in the European energy & utility industry is largely driven by European and global legislation and regulation. This is leading to rapidly changing market structures. In this setting UMS Group's products and services can make a difference.  In February 2007 UMS Group decided to re-introduce a office in Europe.

Industry and geographical focus

In the 90’s UMS Group had already established a market position in Europe however mainly driven by benchmarking products and strong focus on the UK-market. With the re-introduction of UMS Group's Europe office the scope of services now has strong focus on asset management services and solutions.  

One of the strengths of UMS Group is that we develop products and insights from a global perspective. However in our opinion, a successful implementation can only take place by having regional knowledge and insights. This is the reason why we believe that we need a regional presence.

Our customer approach

For solving specific client issues UMS Group has developed a number of tools. The combination of these unique tools and our global and detailed knowledge and experience in the utility industry form the basis of our services.  

In order to accurately convey our knowledge and experience, it is important that we understand the business processes of our clients and speak our clients' language. Therefore, UMS Group only employs consultants who have gained experience as a senior manager or specialist in an utility company or as an international consultant with focus on the utility market. Our team in Europe also consists of a core of industrial seasoned consultants accompliced by young professionals.
